About you…
Do you have or expect to get Grade C/ Grade 4 or above (or equivalent qualification) in Maths and English? Then an apprenticeship with Gateshead Council could be for you.
We are currently recruiting for a Bricklaying apprentice.
On our bricklaying apprenticeship you will cover a wide range of bricklaying skills and techniques including lay bricks, blocks and other types of building components in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches and other structures eg chimney stacks. You will work with colleagues across Gateshead to apply the practical skills you will develop from attending college.
No specific experience is needed; however, knowledge of the trade / specialism to be studied would be desirable.
