About the role…
We are looking for up to two individuals to join our existing communication and engagement team on a fixed term basis.
One post will focus on and lead our internal communications, with the second post supporting our priorities within children’s social care.
The successful candidates will be required to produce effective communications and have knowledge of social marketing; modern methods of digital communication and engagement will be essential. Building and forming excellent relationships with internal partners will also be fundamental to the role.
You will be passionate about communications, creative and innovative in your approach, and place a firm focus on demonstrating how effective engagement can make a real difference to internal and external audiences.
We are looking for professionals who have experience of developing and delivering communications and engagement plans in a large and complex organisation. You will help deliver the Council’s key priorities and build its reputation with employees, residents and partners. Superb communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with people at all levels is essential, as well as being able to work on your own initiative.
You will have excellent skills and experience of writing and editing engaging copy for a wide range of communications channels and have proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects.
